Hot Melt Hose/ Heated Hose
Custom designed heated hoses to fit your application.
Heated hoses are designed to maintain liquids or gases at a temperature of 5 to 200°C.
They enable the fluidity of viscous products to be controlled, prevent certain liquids from congealing (bitumen, glue, oil, grease, food products, etc.) and certain gases from
condensing. Available from DN 6 to DN 25, up to 25 m
1.POLYTETRAFLUOROETHYLENE (PTFE) INNER HOSEA
vailable in different diameters, it is obtained through the extrusion and sintering ofpolytetrafluoroethylene (ptfe). it resists also to particularly aggressive adhesives andto temperatures over 230°c(450°f)
2.STAINLESS STEEL BRAIDING
Built in stainless steel 18/8-aisi 304, it assures protection and resistance to theworking pressures.
3.HEATING RESISTANCE
It brings the inner hose made of ptfe in temperature and wraps it around. lt is ofvariable power.
4.TEMPERATURE SENSOR
It detects the material temperature allowing its continuous control.
5.GLASS FIBER TAPE
It maintains the temperature constant wrapping and protecting the resistance.
6.QUICK PLUG-IN CONNECTORS
They grant the electric connection between machine and gun. They can be suppliedin different typologies and models.
7.INSULATING LAYER
It helps to keep the temperature to the level required thanks alsoTo the silicon foam with which it is composed.
8.FEEDING WIRES
Equipped with earth conductors, they supervise to the heating and control of theguns solenoid valve (24v).
9.PROTECTIVE EXTERNAL BRAIDING
It increases the mechanical resistance against heat, strokes, abrasions wear andhandling. lt is available in Polyamide or in water-repellent silicon.
10.END CAPS
The electrical connection takes place here. They can be rigid or made of silicon andthanks to their particular resistance, they protect the hoses ends.
11.TERMINAL FITTINGS
They are manufactured with different threads and materials in accordancewith the specific requirement and allow the hydraulic connection betweenmachine and gun granting a perfect tightness in all circumstances.
